SEAADE
Formed in 1990, the Southeast Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) aims to advance dental education and research through collaboration among dental educators. Additionally, SEAADE emphasises the importance of communicating with the public and other health professionals to highlight the role of oral health in overall well-being. Establishing liaisons with governmental and relevant agencies to support dental education and research and providing expert advice and consultation services for dental programme, are also key goals.
This year’s conference theme emphasises the pivotal role of innovation in reshaping dentistry's landscape. This theme underscores the transformative impact of technological advancements on both dental education and oral health services. From virtual reality simulators to tele-dentistry platforms, educators and oral healthcare providers alike are leveraging cutting-edge tools to enhance learning experiences and expand access to care. These advancements not only equip future dental professionals with essential skills but also foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
